Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose The Collection Container over other products on the market?
The Collection Container was originally designed for road side collection and is one of a very few products available that are approved for use by volunteers on the road.
Our product is 100% Australian made and owned and most importantly, cheaper!
Our container prices start from $3.90 ex GST per unit AND are partially reusable, whereas the commonly used metal tins are usually $3.50 - $5.00 per unit and are not reusable once cut open.

Why do I need to buy bases and lids separately?
It is a two-piece unit. The lids are one use only and the bases can be reused many times. Because of the tamper evident seal, once the seal is broken and the lid is removed, it cannot be reattached onto the base.

Do you sell other styles of containers or buckets?
Yes! The Alpine Counter Box and the 5 LT Collection Bucket

Do you provide artwork and printing services to decorate The Collection Container?
No, we don't have graphics and printing facilities, but we can refer you to companies who know our products.
You can have your labels sent to us and we can attach to your containers for a small fee. Please contact us for a quote.

Can The Collection Container be secured to a counter top?
Yes. The base has a 4mm (approx.) pre moulded hole in the bottom of the handle to use this hole to thread a small wire or chain and secure to a cash register etc. You may also drill the hole larger if you require a thicker wire or chain.

For an additional cost, we can drill the hole larger prior to sending your bases.
Please contact us for a quote.

How much money does The Collection Container hold?
The amount will vary, but as an average it can hold easily $150.00 AUD predominantly coins and a few plastic notes mixed in.

Can you make lids in a custom colour, specific for our organisation?
Yes of course we can! Minimum order quantities apply. Please see Custom Colours.

What is your minimum order?

10 Bases and 20 Lids.

How do I assemble The Collection Container?
Download our Assembly Instructions here

What is the easiest method of removing the lid from the base?
Using a pair of pliers is the quickest way to break the tab on the tamper evident seal and tear the seal. The lid will then come off easily from the base.

What is the best way to dispose of The Collection Container?
Both the base and the lids are recyclable. Place them into your council recycling bin.

Can you provide a sample?
